Comporta is not an INE statistical area. These are the medians for the two municipalities it spans, which include inland areas, so they understate prices on the coast. Source: INE, Housing prices at local level, Q2 2026 (published 23 October 2026) and Housing rents at local level, Q2 2026 (published 29 September 2026). Medians for the 12 months to June 2026; rents are for new lease agreements. Portugal: €2,264/m² and €9.76/m².

Why invest in Comporta

Scarcity by design

Strict, low-density planning keeps new supply limited, which is a large part of the area's appeal and its price level.

Nature on the doorstep

Long Atlantic beaches, the Sado estuary nature reserve and open landscape, a short drive south of Lisbon.

A high-end segment

Most stock is villas, plots and resort homes aimed at buyers looking for space and privacy.

Thinner market, longer horizon

With few transactions, pricing is less transparent and resale can take time. We recommend Comporta to buyers who plan to use the home, not only to rent it.
